What is the difference between footnotes and endnotes?

To answer this question, we must know what Footnotes and Endnotes are. as Microsoft Word says :

Footnotes

Add a note at the bottom of the page providing more info about something in your document.

EndNotes

Add a note, like a comment or citation, providing more info about something in your document. Superscript numbers referring to endnotes are added to your text.

Footnotes are a description for a Specialized word(like a name of science ) that appears at the bottom of a page where the referenced Word exists.

But Endnotes appear at the end of a section. The Footnote doesn’t stay on the page where the referenced Word exists; it will appear where the section ends, like at the end of a book.
